With Mestizaje Blanco, winemaker Toni Sarrión offers us a white wine halfway between the sea and the mountains. A very Mediterranean wine, but with hints of the mountains that refer to its origin, Finca Calvestra, a vineyard that grows at an altitude of 900 metres on limestone soils with a loamy-clay texture.
Made with Merseguera grapes (63%), a native variety of this region but now almost lost, the rest of the blend is completed with Viognier (30%) and Malvasía varieties.
The result is an expressive white wine that stands out for its aromas of white flowers, light citrus touches and honey notes, and its freshness and creaminess. A white wine with Mediterranean character, sweet and pleasant.
